1. Platform Usage
Academy OS provides a software platform for sports academies to manage players, coaches, schedules, attendance, payments, and parent communication. You may use the platform only for its intended purpose and in accordance with these terms.
2. Account Responsibilities
You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for any activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.
3. Academy Responsibilities
- Ensure information about players, coaches, and locations is accurate.
- Obtain appropriate consent from parents before adding minors.
- Comply with all applicable youth protection and sport regulations.
- Use the platform only to operate your academy and related programs.
4. Parent Responsibilities
- Provide accurate emergency contact and player information.
- Review schedules, attendance, and announcements regularly.
- Keep login credentials private.
5. Payments & Subscriptions
Academies subscribe to Academy OS on a monthly or yearly basis. Fees are charged in advance and are non-refundable except where required by law. Failed payments may result in suspended access until resolved.
6. Marketplace Usage
Academy profiles listed in the Academy OS marketplace must accurately represent the academy, its services, and its location. Misleading or fraudulent listings may be removed at our discretion.
7. Intellectual Property
The Academy OS platform, including its branding, design, and software, is owned by Academy OS. You retain ownership of the content you upload, but grant us a limited license to host and display it as required to operate the service.
8. Limitation of Liability
Academy OS is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.
9. Service Availability
We aim to keep the platform available at all times but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance, third-party outages, or force majeure events may impact availability.
10. Account Termination
You may cancel your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, abuse the platform, or fail to pay outstanding fees.
11. Data Handling Disclaimer
Data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Academy OS handles sensitive youth sports data and takes reasonable measures to protect it, but no platform can guarantee absolute security.
12. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Academy OS operates. Specific governing law and dispute resolution venue will be confirmed in future updates.
